Hi,
I know it has been crazy
getting things going and somewhat organized getting all the new scouts into our pack but isn’t it great having all the
new facesJ my last post was welcoming all to the pack. Now that the year
is progressing it is time for me to let everyone know I appreciate all and what they do, and to wish you all a wonderful time
of family and friends as we move into the 2009 holiday season. Halloween is this weekend and we will be
participating in the Veterans’ Day flag retirement, and then Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner.
So before we all get so busy in our holiday schedules let me take this time to wish you all a happy, safe, festive
holiday season. Let us remember those that have lost those they loved, those who have those they love overseas
in the military and let that make us all the more thankful that we have these things. If you have someone
overseas THANK YOU for there dedication and yours to have the courage to support them in what they do for us all!
Be safe, and have fun. Sometimes we get so busy we forget the little things, there is a song that
says “you only get one chance…only one time around...” this is so true you can’t go back and relive
any moment in life so please take the time to make the jack-o-lantern, play in the fallen leaves, stop and look at Christmas
lights, it will be so worth it in the endJ Love ya’ll and you know I am an e-mail or phone call
awayJ
Your Cubmaster,
Bonnie Allred
