Welcome to the official web-site of Cub Scout Pack 60.  We are chartered by the Lions Club in Arab, Alabama.  Pack 60 offers an exciting program for boys aged 6 through 11 (first through fifth grades).

The Pack is divided into Dens, Which are groups of boys of the same age.  Tiger Cubs is for first graders, Wolves is for second graders, Bears is for third graders, and Webelos is for fourth and fifth graders.  These dens participate in age-appropriate activities under the direction of parents, as well as  adult volunteers called Den Leaders.  These Dens typically get together weekly for meetings or activities, where they learn Scouting skills, do outdoor activities, arts and crafts, play games, and have fun.

Once a month all Dens get together for a Pack meeting.  It's at this time that the boys recieve Scouting awards as well as participate in skits they learned in their individual dens.

"As a worldwide brotherhood,  Scouting is unique.  It is based on the principles of loving and serving God, of human dignity and the rights of individuals,  and of recognizing the obligation of members to develop and use their potential.  It is a movement dedicated to bringing out the best in people.  Cub Scouting doesn't emphasize winning as an end result, but rather the far more demanding task of doing one's best."
